Our History

Extreme Sports Association (ESA) is a National softball organization founded on the premise of putting the players first in allowing them to use the highest performing bats on the market, without sacrificing safety of the pitcher. Our "pitcher's box" and "pitching lane" safety rule has proven to be one of our trademarks. In addition, you often find softball organizations looking out for their pocket books and not the sport we all love and play so passionately.

ESA prides itself on listening to the players and hearing the voice of every person who supports our program, and, making changes to our rulebook when necessary. As ESA becomes a force to reckon with in the softball world, please keep in mind the ultimate goal is not to become the biggest or the best, but to become the most organized and most appealing program available to players of all skill levels in Slowpitch Softball.

Why Extreme?

The game of slowpitch softball has changed so drastically since the creation of composite bats, with the performance of these bats and harder more durable softball’s that it is no longer what it used to be when it was first originated.  The balls are harder and come off the bats faster than ever before which is the reason we now find the game more Extreme than it was.
