ESA Points System

The ESA points system fairly distributes points throughout the season. ESA tournaments will now get points based on how many teams enter individual tournaments. We believe that the points should be adjusted by how many wins you accumulate and by how many teams actually participate in a bracket.

The assumption on our scoring system is that winning a 24 team tournament is two times as difficult as winning an 8 team tournament. And winning a 64 team tournament is three times as difficult as winning an 8 team tournament.

Under the points system if your team goes 0-2 you get 60 ESA points, 120 points qualifies for World Series Play.

In Qualifiers, the Top 6 Teams are awarded unpaid berths to all World Series Play in their respected division of play.

All of the ESA National Tournaments are seeded based on the ESA Points System.
